![]() The toolbox contains the way to select different tools to interact with elements. engine using the Algodoo (formally known as phun) physics simulator. Using Tynkers built-in physics engine, its easy to build physics games. Algodoo is a physics-based 2D sandbox freeware from Algoryx Simulation AB (known simply as Algoryx) as the successor to the popular physics application Phun. Ps:i’m no where near having enough knowledge and fluency in Blender usage and tweaking to be able to do this myself, this post is about asking if someone has already done it, or if not, throwing ideas out there hoping to inspire people that have the knowledge and skills into making this real. Algodoo is a 2D physics simulation game that allows players to experiment with. I’m not sure i’m explaining this well enough, feel free to ask anything and point out any issues etc. Mostly it would be things like tweaking GUI customization etc, keeping things commonly used when setting physics experiments etc on hand and so on, but also with additional scripts for making things easier or just simplifying tasks (drawing chains with the grease pencil for example) basicly using Blender as the underlying engine, optimizing the interface for modeling, setting and running (simulated) physics experiments. My simulations are made with a physics sandbox called Algodoo, sometimes with Unity game engine, if you are curious you can download those and play on your own. In this video, I check out some things other. Students tend to construct classic phys-ics scenarios within the software to ensure that. Use the unique Sketch tool - an all-in-one tool with gestures for multi drawing and editing - that makes your workflow quick and easy. ![]() This may or may not be a signature, depending on your definition of a signature. Welcome to Algodoo This is a game/program that lets you design basically anything with its own physics engine. the physics engine of Algodoo matches the real. The film turned strugglers Clint Eastwood and Van Cleef into bona fide stars and launched them into a glittering Hollywood career ahead. It is the second part of visionary director Sergio Leone’s ‘Dollars Trilogy’ that introduced the craze of Italian Western movies to the world. ‘Police Story’ is as watchable as any other classic Jackie Chan movie. Even better, his character also has a human side to him rather than being a super human who wins every battle he fights. One look at his face and you know that you can trust this guy to protect you and even in ‘Police Story’ he plays a saviour in his capacity as a sergeant. Despite the obvious presence of violence in his films there is also an undeniable and indescribable innocence in his demeanour. There is hardly any place in the world where his films are not seen and when it comes to action he is in a league of his own. Jackie Chan’s name is enough to sell a movie to distributors as he is such a universal star. The DVD of ‘Django’ deserves a place in your exclusive collection list. However the film’s biggest strength lies in its tackling of sensitive issues like racism and sexual exploitation. It ticks all the boxes requisite of a timeless Western film guns, cowboys and outlaws. Actor Franco Nero who portrayed the title role on-screen became a cult figure in world cinema overnight post the success of the film. For instance Quentin Tarantino made ‘Django Unchained’ in 2012 as a tribute to the original. The 60s were considered the golden age for Italian Spaghetti Westerns in cinema and ‘Django’ is one of the finest outputs of that era. Also how can anyone miss those steamy scenes and lip locks between Jolie and Pitt, the two hottest movie stars in the world. The action is constantly moving forward but not necessarily in the right direction. It has its own share of flaws but no one can accuse it of being stagnant. Not to be taken seriously at any given point the film escalates and dips at the blink of an eye. It’s sexy, it’s gorgeous to look at – after all there’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the screen – and if gossip columns are to be believed it’s the film that ignited a fire in the hearts of the heart-throb movie stars. The film would be the only Hollywood production to feature kung fu villain actor Hwang Jang-Lee, who is credited in the film as “Jason Hwang”. Street Soldiers is a martial arts film starring and produced by taekwondo master Jun Chong. The USP of ‘Street Soldiers’ lies in its ability to rock the boat and to show how bad can be good sometimes. It was an independent project made on a budget of less than a million but it grossed over $40 million at the box office and won hearts all over. The film made news for destroying 93 cars in a chase sequence lasting about 40 minutes. Since then it has influenced American pop culture in more ways than one. Halicki spearheaded a film that was equally fast and furious in the true sense of the term. If you have watched the Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie starrer film of the same name then as a true film buff you need to check out the 1974 version which inspired the remake. The cast comprises of mostly unknown action worthy performers barring David Hasselhoff whose dominant voice lends a sense of nostalgia and novelty to the short film. It gets the mood, sentiment and look of the 80s era bang on. The film is instantly likable and very in-your-face. Designed as a tribute to the martial arts craze and fast paced police chase flicks of the 80s, it has a video game like appeal to it. Technically it’s more like a parody but done in an earnest manner. It is the brainchild of David Sandberg who serves both as the director and one of the actors of this 30 minute passion project. ‘Kung Fury’ is the perfect film to begin the list with as it honours the tradition of action films in all its glory. ![]() Wild Boy is Andy’s account of his life both inside and outside the band. They are my Sugar Smacks, my ridiculous obsession that I intend to make no excuses for. I still love them, to this day, even after the bad albums and cocaine lifestyle and even though (and this is where my Duran friends will flame me) there are so many other bands today making more relevant music than Duran Duran. I was born in rural Iowa, and after years of being surrounded by corn and dirt and rednecks, this upscale band with their slick sound and obscure poetic lyric and glamorous lifestyle and great clothes and models in body paint sailing on yachts seems like Nirvana. Now, right here, I have to admit, Duran Duran is my junkie addiction they are the music soundtrack to my adolescence. He rejoined the band for a reunion in 2001 and a new album, Astronaut, and then in 2006 he parted ways again. He left in 1985, soon after a disastrous show at Live Aid. Andy was there from near the beginning of the band through its heyday of the albums Rio (“Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Save a Prayer,” and the tile track), through Seven and the Ragged Tiger (“The Reflex,” “ New Moon on Monday”), into their live album (with the single “Wild Boys”) and their James Bond theme “A View to a Kill”. Given the total lack of perspective or responsibility in this his own chance to set the record straight, it’s no surprise Andy Taylor and Duran Duran parted ways…twice.įor those of you not in the know (and I assume that is most of you) Andy Taylor is the original guitarist for Duran Duran, a band that has sold 80 million albums and created some of the most iconic music of the 80s and early 90s. Moving from hilarious to harrowing at the turn of a page, Wild Boy is a must-read for anyone who lived through the 1980s, or who cares about music. Packed with more than twenty-five years worth of rock 'n' roll anecdotes, Andy tells of his time in the band The Power Station, and explains why Duran Duran reformed with its original line-up in 2003.īut Wild Boy is also a moving story on a human level, as Andy describes how the pressures of fame took a terrible personal toll on him and his family. He reveals the truth about the allegations of drug abuse and wild hedonism that dogged Duran Duran. He captures the glamour and excitement of the band's epic video shoots and the opulence of their world tours. With searing honesty, he charts every moment of Duran Duran's roller-coaster rise from their early days as club musicians through to international superstardom. Now Andy shares the story of what went wrong. Then, at the very height of their achievement in 1985, Duran Duran imploded. The band rose to conquer the globe with a string of unforgettable hits such as "Rio," "Hungry Like the Wolf," and "The Reflex." With Simon Le Bon as their frontman, they were the defining pop act of the 1980s, but Andy Taylor, the enigmatic lead guitarist, is widely acknowledged to have been their musical driving force. Wild Boy is the explosive first inside account of the rise and fall of Duran Duran. ![]() When converting, source EML files can be moved to another folder.
